  • Set two saw ACU in front 7-5 before LSU countered with an 8-0 run to grab control
  • Van Wie broke a 1-1 tie in the third set with a kill
  • A kill from Reeser and two aces from Eliana Macy capped the 4-0 effort to push the momentum in ACU’s favor
  • Yet another a 4-0 burst (kills from Coughlin, Tedrow, and Bethany Johnson and a Johnson/Tedrow block) broke open a close fourth set
  • ACU hit .342 as a team in the final set

Thoughts from Coach Shelton
The ladies did well today- a very balanced attack and Jacobus with seven blocks that was huge.  We did well all the way around- serving, blocking and both setters.”
