Course Description

This course is designed primarily for students that need a foundation in algebra and trigonometry for the study of calculus. The concept of function and graphical representation of functions is stressed. Topics covered include functions and their graphs, including exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric; algebra of the trigonometric functions and identities; polar coordinates; complex numbers; vectors; conics; and systems of equations, including matrices and determinants.
