Housing: Where Community Happens
Living on campus is where lifelong friendships form. From late-night study sessions to spontaneous worship nights, residence life shapes your ACU experience.
Simple process:
- Apply upon acceptance online
- Get matched based on your preferences
- Receive your assignment (May, June, or July)
- Connect with roommates before arrival
First-year students live in Liberty, Freedom, or Patriot Halls
Upperclassmen enjoy apartment-style living in Independence and Constitution
Move-In Day: August 20, 2026
Picture this: You arrive on campus and Flock Leaders immediately help carry your stuff to your room. Parents get coffee and support while you start settling in. By evening, you’re already making friends at hall activities.
Welcome Week: Your Best First Week
The days between move-in and classes set the tone for your entire ACU experience. Through signature events and Flock activities, you’ll feel at home before your first class.

The Flock System: Your First Family
No one gets lost at ACU. You’re placed in a Flock—a small group led by an upperclassman who helps you navigate your first year. These often become your closest college friends.
Your Flock Leader guides you through orientation, shares insider tips, connects you with others, and remains a resource all semester.
