About This Course

This continuing education course is designed to strengthen your walk with God by exploring the key principles that shape a faithful Christian life.

You’ll discover how Scripture guides us through trials, teaching us to endure with trust and perseverance. You’ll examine the power of forgiveness — both in receiving God’s grace and extending it to others. You’ll rediscover hope as a confident expectation rooted in God’s promises. And you’ll explore ethics, integrity, and biblical decision-making, gaining practical tools for discerning God’s will in everyday choices.

By the end of this course, you’ll be equipped with a deeper, more practical understanding of what it means to live out your faith every day. You’ll gain biblical tools to navigate life’s challenges with confidence, respond to others with grace, and make decisions rooted in God’s wisdom. These foundations will strengthen your personal growth, enrich your relationships and leadership, and sharpen your ability to reflect Christ in every area of your life.

This course is a meaningful CEU workshop for mental health professionals, including LPCs, LCSWs, and LMFTs, because it explores foundational themes that regularly arise in counseling work, including resilience through adversity, forgiveness, hope, ethics, integrity, and values-based decision-making. These topics are highly relevant for clinicians serving clients whose faith is an important part of their identity and coping process. Participants can deepen their understanding of how biblical principles may influence emotional healing, relationship repair, moral reasoning, and personal growth. The course also supports clinicians in developing greater cultural and spiritual competence when working with Christian individuals, couples, and families. By examining concepts such as perseverance, grace, reconciliation, and purpose, therapists can gain tools to better understand client worldviews and integrate spiritually sensitive approaches when clinically appropriate. For LPCs and LMFTs, this training can enhance ethical awareness, strengthen work with relational dynamics, and expand competency in addressing the intersection of faith and mental health in a respectful, client-centered manner.
