The first half of ACU's systematic theology sequence — Scripture, God, creation, humanity, and sin.
Course Description
BIB 301 introduces students to systematic theology at the bachelor's level — not a brief survey, but a full course on the doctrines that anchor everything else. The semester opens with the doctrine of Scripture itself, working carefully through the inerrancy and authority of the Bible.
From there, the course explores God's triune nature and His providence, then moves into the doctrine of creation, the nature of humanity, and the entrance and effect of sin in the world. The semester closes with focused attention on the significance of angels, Satan, and demons — the spiritual realm Scripture takes seriously and the course does too.
BIB 301 sets up BIB 302 Systematic Theology II, which completes the sequence with Christology, soteriology, pneumatology, ecclesiology, and eschatology.

Systematic theology, done well, is faithful organization of biblical revelation — not philosophical speculation. BIB 301 takes that posture all the way through, treating each doctrine as something to be discovered in Scripture and articulated with care rather than imposed on the text from outside.
