Introduction to Sport Management provides an overview of sport management by presenting discussions of the foundational aspects of the profession including current topics in the field. The relevance of legal, sociocultural, historical, political, and psychological concepts to the management of sport will be covered throughout the semester. In addition, a focus on professional skills and attitudes of sport managers at various professional levels will be investigated throughout the course.
