A child development course at Arizona Christian University.
This course provides practical experience for the child development major. Practicum experiences will allow the student to serve in a setting that focuses on the intellectual, social, emotional, and biological development of children, as well as allowing for the student to participate in the planning, design and delivery of child life or child advocacy services. Child development students will complete one 135-hour practicum in a setting closely related to expected career settings with the option of a second practicum. All child development practicum experiences will include coursework requiring weekly application assignments and interaction with the professor and fellow students in online discussions.
