This exploration into the application of investigative methods will provide students with a foundational understanding of the criminal investigation method through both classroom lecture and hands-on field problem-solving. Using current practices from real-life detectives in specific areas of criminal investigations, students will apply the classroom discussions and activities into a block program, scenario-based structure to ensure learning takes place. This course will complement the other courses within this program and broaden the student's perspective into the challenges faced by workers in the criminal investigations field and their professional lives.
