World War II Era 1939-1945
A history course at Arizona Christian University.
Course Description
This course will actively analyze the causes, major events, and results of the most impactful global war of the 20th century. Focus will be on the U.S. involvement in both the European and Asian theaters of war, but also on the American home front experiences of all people groups. The history of Thunderbird Field, which has become the campus of ACU, will be an important highlight of the course. This course may be taken for 2 credits with department chair approval. Students taking the course for 2 credits will be required to complete additional work that students taking the course for 1 credit will not be required to complete.
