Instrumental Literature Survey

Studies concentrate on etude books, solo literature, and small ensemble literature. The course will include a list of etude books within the following guidelines and categories: pedagogical application (i.e., sequential appropriateness for age or developmental level) and elements within a composition that may teach specific fundamental or advanced techniques. Studies focus on each student’s principal instrument.
