MED413: General Music Education Methods and Literature

Course Description
Administration, organization, and teaching of general music programs. Experiences, curricula, and methods for teaching young vocalists/instrumentalists in the K-12 general music classroom are analyzed. Special emphasis is placed on classroom management, lesson planning, methods, and general music curricular materials. Fifteen (15) hours of approved observation is required.
