Course Description

Open to students of all majors, Developmental Band is designed for students to learn how to play an instrument for the first time or brush up on skills from previous musical experiences. As a group, students will progress quickly and attain the ability to perform popular and classic songs in their first semester. No audition required. This course is not taken for credit and does not satisfy any degree requirements. Course expectations are the same for all participants, regardless of credit option. Approval by the music department chair is required.
