Course Description
This course provides systems thinkers with the ability to understand presenting problems from the perspective of the DSM-5. Students will develop an in-depth knowledge of the DSM-5 and practice interview techniques for assigning DSM-5 diagnoses while considering systemic epistemological hypotheses and treatment strategies. Additionally, students will deepen their knowledge of cultural, religious, and spiritual meaning-making of psychological issues and develop strategies for working with diverse family narratives.
