Higuera Earns Fourth SAC Player of the Week Honor

Glendale, Ariz.- For the fourth time this season, Sophomore kicker Nestor Higuera was selected as the SAC Special Teams Player of the Week as announced by the Sooner Athletic Conference on Monday.

Higuera, out of Phoenix, AZ, delivered a perfect 6-6 effort converting point after attempts on Saturday against Lyon.  He nailed his lone field goal attempt from 25 yards out as well.

With his perfect kicking effort, Higuera improves to 35-35 on PATs on the year.  Thirty-two kickers in the NAIA have made all their PATs this season but Higuera tops the list with his 35 perfect attempts.  His field goal against the Scots moves Higuera into a tie for ninth in the NAIA this season.
