NAIA Honorable Mention Nod For Buckley
Glendale, Ariz.- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced the 2023 NAIA Softball All-America Teams on Wednesday and Claire Buckley locked up a spot on the Honorable Mention list.
Buckley, who hails from Clovis, CA, ranked among the top 50 in the NAIA in doubles (21), total bases (113), and assists (130/ fifth in NAIA). Her 46 RBI led the GSAC and was among the NAIA leaders when the regular season ended.
Paired with her All-America Second Team selection in 2022, this is the second season the ACU shortstop has been voted one of the best in the NAIA.
Head Coach Mike Mayben stated, “We are proud of Claire and all the awards she continues to win. She is an incredible athlete and teammate, deserving of each and every award she has earned.”
