Flagstaff, Ariz.- Arizona Christian participated in the NAU Blue and Gold meet on Friday. The Firestorm faced a split NAU squad on the women’s side and had the pool to themselves on the men’s side.

Coach Hering’s Perspective
“What a privilege to go to NAU and swim against the Lumberjacks. It is always good to have competition that is better than you so that you can be sharpened! Our team did well against some very fast swimmers. Both Coach Rob and I were impressed with the team racing their best at 7000 feet. Despite the altitude, our team really focused on three things, glorifying Jesus, improving on details of their specific events, and enjoying the gifts God gave them, each other and their athletic ability!”
“This was an intrasquad meet for NAU. We were privileged to be there racing with them. Hat’s off to NAU coaches Andy Johns and Larry Leibowitz!”
Next On The Schedule
On October 28, Arizona Christian will return to a traditional meet format where they will challenge several teams. The meet will be held at the Southwest Family YMCA in Litchfield Park.
