Castagnaro, Moreno End Regular Season Ranked
In the final 2023-24 NAIA Wrestling Coaches’ Poll, two Firestorm finished ranked in the top-25 of their respective weight class.
Senior Carlo Castagnaro claimed 24th in the 165-lb. weight class. His regular-season was highlighted by an 8th-place finish in the prestigious Missouri Valley Invite.
Senior Michael Moreno ended 21st in the 197-lb. weight class. He rose to this position thanks to a win over the former #21-ranked 197-pounder, Carl Hansen (Montana State University-Northern), this past Friday.
ACU Wrestling’s regular season wraps up this Saturday (February 10th) at the Firestorm Open, action at Firestorm Recreation Center beginning at 10:00 AM.
