Boeckman Stands Alone, ACU Beats BENU
Mesa, Ariz. – A match after taking over the top wins mark in a three way tie, Brianna Boeckman claimed the top spot in individual wins (37) in ACU history with her win on Friday. Arizona Christian claimed the first three matches against Benedictine Mesa to earn the team win.
Boeckman teamed with Eliana Cho to claim a win at twos and earn the first team point for ACU. Emily Katzer and Jaiden Zeis needed three sets but won at the fours for the second team point. When the second wave started, Alyssa Robles and Kapri Espinosa delivered the team victory winning two sets in identical score fashion.
In upset fashion, the Brown sisters lost a match to a GSAC foe for the first time this season.
