Glendale, Ariz.- On Tuesday, the College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced the 2024-25 CSC Academic All-America Women’s Tennis Teams and Madeline Monroy was voted Second Team Academic All-American.  Joining Monroy on the CSC Academic All-District list was Ella Lavender.

To be nominated by their College Sports Communicator (aka SID), a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically with a 3.50 cumulative GPA and competed in 70 percent of their team’s countable contests.  A nomination by their CSC earns the student-athlete All-District honors.  Select All-District finalists move up to the CSC Academic All-America ballot where a national committee determines the All-America Teams.

Monroy, out of Litchfield Park, AZ, served her way to a total record of 17-5 (8-2 in singles and 9-3 in doubles).  The NAIA All-American graduated with a perfect effort while earning a degree in political science.

Lavender, hailing from Melbourne, Australia, volleyed her way to identical records of 8-6 in both singles and doubles.  Lavender impressed with her work on a degree in behavioral health.

Job well down in the classroom and on the court.
