Fourth Quarter Gets Away From Firestorm

American football game action: a player in red holding the ball is tackled by multiple defenders in white uniforms at night on a green field.

Glendale, Ariz.- Facing NAIA number 17 ranked Carroll College, Arizona Christian was down just 14-6 after three quarters.  But the Fighting Saints pulled away from the Firestorm with a big fourth quarter.  ACU scored on the last play of the game to close the gap but it was not enough.

A balanced attack saw ACU run 34 times and pass 32 times.  Both teams ran 66 plays on the night.  Ty Cole was a work horse as he carried the rock 23 times and scored the lone Firestorm touchdown.
