Too Many Turnovers for Firestorm to Overcome Trojans
Glendale, AZ – The Lady Firestorm competed well throughout their matchup with the Trojans of Taylor University but were ultimately doomed by 26 turnovers in 70-57 defeat on Thursday evening at the ACU Event Center. The team was led in scoring by Taylor Schwab who scored 20 points and had 5 rebounds. The post playing duo of Emily Till and Charlotte O’Neal scored 13 and 12 points respectively while combining for 18 rebounds. O’Neal also protected the paint with three blocked shots.
