Tempe, Ariz.- Arizona Christian STUNT opened their 2026 season with three games hosted at Arizona State.  The Firestorm made program history as they collected their first ever team win on Sunday evening.

Working backward in the weekend, the Firestorm squared off with first year program and GSAC rival Park Gilbert and earned the 13-1 win.  ACU took a 4-0 lead into half time with two points in each of the first two quarters. After three quarters of action, the Firestorm held a 7-1 advantage.  They sealed their first win with a 6-0 run through the fourth quarter.

Against George Fox on Saturday evening, Arizona Christian put forth a solid effort as they scored in each quarter.  The two points in both the third and fourth quarters kept ACU closer, but they came up short 23-6.

The Firestorm opened their season on Saturday afternoon with a meeting against defending STUNT NAIA Division champion and GSAC foe Hope International.  The Firestorm could not slow down the Royals.

Head Coach Kaelin Hahn commented, “I am super proud of the hard work these athletes put in to receive their first ever win.  They have so much more to come this season and I can’t wait!”

The Firestorm will be back on the mat this weekend as they head to Fullerton, CA.  Arizona Christian will compete in four games hosted at Hope International.
