Pair of 6-5 Games Equals Split

Glendale, Ariz.- On Friday late afternoon turn evening, Arizona Christian won 6-5 in the first game of the year facing Park Gilbert in non-conference action.  The night cap saw the same final score but the Buccaneers were the victors.

• The Bucs homered on the second pitch of the game followed by their number two hitter also coming around to score
• With two out in the second, Villanueva singled, Miller doubled her home, Martin walked, and Herrera blasted a shot over the left field fence
• Park scored the next four runs- two in the fourth and two in the sixth
• Bradford delivered a sac fly to bring home Villanueva
• ACU could not find the tying run
