On Thursday, October 1, the ACU Advancement Department is opening Rhode Auditorium for a free screening of the first episode of The Chosen: Season 6. Everyone’s welcome — students, families, alumni, neighbors, and anyone who’s been meaning to visit our campus. Consider this your invitation to a night at the movies.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The screening begins at 7 p.m.
The season that leads to the cross
Season 6 opens in the Garden of Gethsemane and follows the final 24 hours of Jesus’ life. The creators filmed most of it overnight, and you can feel it — the dark, the quiet, the weight of a single day that changed everything after it.
What sets this season apart is its posture. It doesn’t show a man swept along by events outside his control.
He saw exactly what was coming, and he walked toward it anyway.
That’s a story worth watching shoulder to shoulder.
Save your seat
Admission is free, but Rhode Auditorium holds a limited number of seats, so registration is required. Registered guests are seated first. Walk-ups are welcome and will be seated first come, first served once RSVP’d guests are in the room.
