ENG 102 takes the writing skills students built in ENG 101 and pushes them deeper — into the research and information literacy that college-level work demands. Students learn to navigate a library, evaluate sources critically, and integrate quality research into a formal research paper.
The course is built around the conviction that good research writing isn't just adding citations to an opinion — it's letting evidence shape the argument. By the end, students can locate credible sources, weigh them honestly, and weave them into writing that does real intellectual work.
