ACU Cannot Holdoff UMW In Home Finale
Glendale, Ariz.- A Firestorm touchdown late in the first half sent Arizona Christian to the halftime break up 20-14 in their home finale. But the Firestorm could not hold off the Bulldogs in the second half.
Michael Butler threw for 182 yards and two touchdowns- one to Chris McKivitz and one to Jacobee Taylor. Butler also ran for 47 yards. Cole Meidinger added 105 yards passing with a TD toss to Jerome Broadus. AJ Sipley topped ACU in rushing with 52 yards.
Joseph Munoz led ACU with nine tackles. William Baldwin delivered eight tackles. Max McDowell recorded six tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, a sack, and forced fumble. Lofi Chanwong and Cooper King had six tackles.
