Maddox Era To Begin In Durango

Glendale, Ariz.- For the third straight season, Arizona Christian University Football will open their season against the Skyhawks of Fort Lewis College.  The Drew Maddox era will begin with Saturday’s game in Durango, Colo.

Series
The Firestorm and the Skyhawks are 2-2 against each other with a series that began in 2022.  Arizona Christian won the first two meetings while Fort Lewis has claimed the last two victories. With ACU entering their fourth season in the Frontier, the fifth straight year of head-to-head action between ACU and FLC is the longest current consecutive year rivalry for the Firestorm.

Fort Lewis Football
The NCAA Division II Skyhawks had their game in progress against William Jewell on Saturday cancelled.  Officially, Saturday’s game against the Firestorm will be their season opener.
